The U.S. Team is led by coach Mauricio Pochettino and features forward Christian Pulisic. The tournament schedule expands on Saturday with at least four games daily until June 27. Upcoming fixtures include Qatar vs. Switzerland, Brazil vs. Morocco, Haiti vs. Scotland, and Australia vs. Turkey. Mexico began the tournament on Thursday with a 2-0 victory over South Africa at the Azteca Stadium. Broadcasting for the tournament in the U.S. Is handled by Fox and FS1 in English, with the Fox One app also providing coverage. Telemundo and Universo will broadcast all matches in Spanish, with Peacock serving as the streaming home for Spanish-language content. Also, Jibril Rajoub, the head of the Palestinian Football Association, is currently in Mexico City awaiting permission to enter the United States. He is among several accredited individuals who have been denied visas or have not yet received them. Meanwhile, Ghana’s Thomas Partey was sidelined for his team’s opener against Panama due to a visa denial.
