ETF League Tables: Vanguard Gains, BlackRock Sheds Assets

GBA Capital Management, a Hong Kong-based investment and advisory firm, announced on June 13, 2026, that it is deepening strategic relationships with institutional investors, family offices, brokerages, and capital partners across the Middle East and Europe. James Hueston, the firm’s Managing Partner and Head of Client Development, stated that the firm is expanding international collaboration to support cross-border investment activity and capital formation between Hong Kong, the Gulf region, and European financial centers. The announcement highlights growing interest in alternative growth corridors outside traditional markets, with reports indicating increased capital allocation toward Asia, digital infrastructure, energy transition assets, and cross-border financial platforms. GBA Capital Management noted increased engagement from Middle Eastern sovereign-linked investors and private wealth groups seeking Asia-Pacific opportunities in technology and infrastructure. Simultaneously, European institutions are exploring partnerships to access emerging Asian capital flows. In separate market reports, PitchBook released its Q1 2026 US PE Middle Market Report, which integrated SPI by StepStone deal-level data. The report found that since 2009, realized or partially realized deals in the lower middle market returned a pooled 39% gross IRR and 3.3x TVPI. These figures outperformed every larger band, including the largest cohort, which returned 28% and 2.7x. The data indicated that the lower middle market subset had a nearly identical number of poor outcomes and fewer outright losing deals than the upper middle market. Also, etf.com provided a league table of the U.S. ETF market as of June 11, 2026. The data, provided by FactSet, distinguishes between brands and legal issuers, noting that many issuers license their infrastructure to third parties. The table included listings for Mirae Asset Global Investments Co., Ltd., Matthews International Capital Management, Redbird Capital Partners Alternative Holdings LLC, and Split Rock Private Trading & Wealth Management LLC.
