Led by Jalen Brunson’s 45 points, the team secured the title in San Antonio, Texas, at the Frost Bank Center. The win followed a historic Game 4 comeback where the Knicks won 107-106 after trailing by 29 points at halftime. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the atmosphere at Madison Square Garden during that comeback was so electric that the floor was reportedly vibrating. Following the championship win, Knicks owner James Dolan expressed regret that the title took so long to achieve. New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced that a championship parade will take place in Manhattan this Thursday. A wide range of celebrities attended the finals to support the team.
