Al Jazeera noted that both teams entered the tournament without key players due to injury. The match was played before a crowd of 69,285 spectators in the air-conditioned stadium, which is the home of the Dallas Cowboys. In other Group F action, Sweden defeated Tunisia 5-1 in Guadalupe, Mexico. Yasin Ayari scored twice for Sweden, while Alexander Isak and Viktor Gyokeres also found the net. Mattias Svanberg added a fourth goal late in the match after a VAR review ruled him onside. Elsewhere, the Uruguayan national team arrived in Miami on Sunday after facing travel delays from Mexico due to an airline permitting error. The delay caused Uruguay’s coach, Marcelo Bielsa, and captain Jose Maria Gimenez to miss a scheduled news conference. Uruguay is scheduled to face Saudi Arabia in Miami Gardens on Monday.
