Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter Drop “Bring Your Love” Music Video
Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter released the music video for their collaboration “Bring Your Love” on Monday. The song was released at the end of April, though Rolling Stone reports it was released in May. The track is a collaboration for Madonna’s upcoming album, Confessions II, which serves as a sequel to the 2005 album Confessions on a Dance Floor. The music video, directed by Torso, is set in a large club space. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the video features the two stars strutting through a packed dance club and floating above the crowd before meeting back to back on stage. Rolling Stone adds that the video opens with Madonna rolled up in a long carpet that is pushed down the dance floor, and notes that the duo moves through the crowd while avoiding a floating cameraman. Rolling Stone also reports that actress Julia Garner makes a cameo in the clip, appearing similar to 1980s-era Madonna. The two artists first performed “Bring Your Love” together during Carpenter’s headlining set at Coachella weekend two, where they also performed “Vogue” and “Like A Prayer.” The track was produced by Madonna and Stuart Price. Rolling Stone describes the music video as an extended version of a sequence from Madonna’s Confessions II short film, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. That 13-minute visual is built around the first six tracks of the album and features various cameos, including Benedict Cumberbatch, Feid, Debi Mazar, Kate Moss, Odessa A’zion, Richard E. Grant, Honey Dijon, and Lourdes Leon. Confessions II is scheduled for release on July 3 via Warner Records. This marks Madonna’s first album since 2019’s Madame X. In preparation for the release, Madonna has performed at The Abbey in West Hollywood, held a pop-up in Times Square, and promoted the album on the dating app Grindr.
