UFC Fighter Declares “Michelle Obama Is a Man” After Winning Match at White House
Josh Hokit won his heavyweight bout against Derrick Lewis at the UFC Freedom 250 event, which took place on the White House South Lawn on Sunday night. Following his victory, Hokit gave an interview to Joe Rogan where he stated, “Michelle Obama is a man. Am I right, America?” According to The Hollywood Reporter, some members of the crowd were heard laughing in online videos, while others appeared surprised by the remarks. Rogan did not address the comments, stating only, “Ladies and gentlemen, Josh Hokit.” The event featured several high-profile attendees, including UFC CEO Dana White, TKO Group Holdings CEO and executive chairman Ari Emanuel, Vice President JD Vance, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Ivanka Trump, and boxer Tyson Fury. Other notable figures present included comedians Shane Gillis and Tony Hinchcliffe, country singer Alexis Wilkins, and Crypto.com CEO Kris Marszalek. The UFC Freedom 250 card included title fights between Alex Pereira and Ciryl Gane for the interim UFC heavyweight title, as well as a main event between lightweight champion Ilia Topuria and interim champion Justin Gaethje. Other fighters on the card included Sean O’Malley, Michael Chandler, and Bo Nickal. The event was broadcast exclusively on Paramount+, which transitioned to a subscription-based model for UFC events that removes pay-per-view fees. The Hollywood Reporter noted that Paramount+ has faced scrutiny following a lawsuit settlement with President Donald Trump regarding a 60 Minutes interview, as well as recent firings at the CBS newsmagazine, including Scott Pelley and Tanya Simon. Rolling Stone reported that the event was scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday, June 14.
